Gowshala is organized and managed by Aryavan Vikas Trust. A sister concern of Darshan Yog Mahavidyalaya.
Aryavan has a got more than 70 cows of varied Indian Origin. These include the Gir and other Kathiawar pedigree famous for its characteristics. Careful breeding takes place to ensure that the useful characteristics of the Gir cows are maintained.
Aryavan is also investigating the usefulness of the cows' products in farming, medicine and food.
The cow's milk and milk products are used within the Vidyalaya for Brahmacharis and also pure cow's Ghee is used in the agnihotra to maximize its effect as prescribed in Veda.
