In January 2001,
Kutchh-Bhuj was devastated by Earth Quake, At that time Celibacy's (Brahmacharies & Vaanprasthi Gan) of the Asharam & Vidyalaya had postponed their studies & organized earth quake relief canter in Varahi & Durgapur for
up to 21 days & covered 70 to 75 villages in that thousands of families got benefited.
About 21 trucks of resources like Tents, Woolen blankets, Clothes, Food & basic necessity, were distributed, and around about Rs. 20 to 25 lacks were spent.
